The Basic Logarithmic Function (Base b)
by Mike Martin

On this page, you can vary the parameters in the logarithmic function with base b. Once the parameters are set you can plot the function and its first and second derivatives. Submit real values for all of the parameters. Use at your own risk as some parameter values may produce erroneous graphs, but parameters consistent with the literature will work. Note that the logarithmic function with base b is written as Logb[a t] or logb[a t].

The logarithmic function may be written as

f ( t ) = logb(a t)

Enter in the value of the parameters a, b and select the plotting bounds, then press the "Evaluate" button.
