The Cubic Function by Mike Martin

On this page, you can vary the parameters for a cubic function. Once the parameters are set you can plot the function and its first and second derivatives. Submit real values for all of the parameters. Use at your own risk as some parameter values may produce erroneous graphs, but parameters consistent with the literature will work.

A cubic function can be written as

Enter in the value of the parameters a_{3},a_{2}, a_{1}, a_{o}, and select the plotting bounds, then press the "Evaluate" button.

a_{3} =

a_{2} =

a_{1} =

a_{o} =

≤ x ≤

≤ f ( x ) ≤
